Debtor's Rights Practice

Fair Debt Collection Practices Act violations.

We know that owing money does not make someone less of a human being. We also know that debtors are abused by collection agencies in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (“FDCPA”) far more than is reported in the media. When debtors are abused at the hands of debt collectors, we step in and stop that abuse.

The FDCPA requires collectors to behave in a professional manner. Many collectors are either not properly trained in the FDCPA or simply do not care about the law.

If you have been abused by a collector, tells us about it and we will discuss your legal options. Usually, we can sue collectors and collection agencies for violations under the FDCPA and immediately stop the harrassment.

Errors on consumer credit reports.

A recent study has shown that over 70% of consumer credit reports contain errors. Usually, correcting these errors is quick and easy. Sometimes it's not quite that easy. When consumer credit reporting agencies such as Equifax, TransUnion and Experian refuse to correct these errors, we can help. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act, consumers have right.
