Let's Get Started

In order to get started on your case, we need four things:

  • As much Information about your debtor as you can provide. At a minimum, we need:
    • The debtor's name;
    • The debtor's address;
    • The debtor's telephone number.
    • If the debtor is a business entity, the name of the contact person at the business.
    • A ledger showing the charges and payments to the account.
    • The following additional information would be very helpful:
      • A contract or agreement signed by the debtor;
      • A personal guarantee signed by the debtor or its agent;
      • Copies of invoices sent to the debtor;
      • Copies of any checks for partial payments made by the debtor;
      • Credit application made by the debtor;
      • The debtor's driver's license (if an individual debt).
      • The debtor's social security number (if an individual debt)
      • Any correspondence or emails sent by the debtor.

  • Information about you including:
    • Your name, address, telephone number, fax number and email address;
    • If you are a business, the name of your business.

  • A Retainer Agreement.   A retainer agreement is a contact between us that authorizes Nitzkin and Associates as your attorney to pursue your claim for collection. Upon request, we will transmit a retainer agreement to you.

  • A check for our out of pocket costs for $250.  While our fees may be contingent upon collection, our out of pocket costs are not.  These costs represent what the courts and process servers charge us to file and serve your complaint.
